There are two types of Babbitt metals: tin- and lead-based alloys, which also contain antimony, copper, lead and tin in a lesser proportion to the base metal, in accordance with their base metal, reduce the mechanical resistance to friction.

Normesa manufactures the full range of Babbitt metals for filling bearings, also called Babbitts or White Metals.

Starting with pure and primary raw materials, we make alloys under the main international standards.

  • ASTM
  • DIN
  • GOST
  • BS…

For years, our Babbitt metals have been providing solutions for the most diverse industry sectors such as cement plants, shipbuilding, hydroelectric plants, lamination and steel mills.
